How to use : Henna hair coloring treatments should be repeated every 4-6 weeks or with root touch ups as needed between colors. Henna can be used to create a shine or conditioning mask treatment that can be done every 2-3 weeks. Henna can loosen your curl pattern, should it be applied.

You can add amla or ziziphus powder as a treatment to enhance and maintain curls and volume. We highly recommend adding aloe vera powder or one of our hair oils to your henna recipe for extra moisture as henna can be drying without it.

Duidelines : Add henna to warm to hot distilled water and let sit for 3-4 hours to release the dye. Prewash your hair with one of our hair wash or shampoo bars. Apply to damp hair and leave in hair for 3-4 hours for a complete color treatment and to cover gray hairs. While applying henna, leave the hair strengthening mask on the hair for 1-2 hours. If you want to cut the time your hair stays in half, use a heat cap. Wash off with our Cleansing Couch then moisturize, dry and style as usual for best results.

Storage : We recommend you store henna in a cool dark place, refrigerator or freezer, away from moisture.

On average you will need to use approximately this much according to the length of your hair :

Length above ear: 50-75g
Shoulder Length: 100-125g
Bra strap length or mid-back: 150-175 grams
Lower back (above hips): 200 to 225 grams Hip/waist length: 250 to 300 grams
